Mario Kart Double Dash on Shield 2017 no controls?

Hi

I have a shield 2017 model. Installed dolphin 4.0-5672.apk then installed dolphin v 5.0-508.apk

The game starts but i get no input from either the controller or remote? The blue sidebar.. i click settings and nothing happens?

Any help please?

You need to configure the gcpad while the emulation is not running. We don't provide a default configuration on android :/

Yes config didnt work with the earlier version i had it said config coming soon. I installed the latest dolphin apk and now I can config my controls.  

Mario Kart Double Dash is a little slow with small sound glitches on my shield. I heard the earlier versions of dolphin can make them run great. Pittt I cant now.

There is no faster older version. Just the current development builds are the fastest builds available. Keep in mind that we're still emulating a 500 MHz PPC on a 1.9 GHz low power ARM CPU

1st post.. v4 & v5... i couldnt map buttons with them. Only the dolphin latest build apk
