Mario Kart Double Dash Hamachi

Hello, how can i get Mario Kart Double Dash working with Hamachi to play LAN-Mode over Internet? I read this guide: https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/wiki/BBA, but i could not get it to work. Tried bridge:

TAP and internet-connection
TAP and Hamachiadapter

No success.

I tried the same thing, Hamachi does not work for this.

Is there another way to get it working over the internet?

From what I've been told you have to set up a real VPN. I have not successfully gotten it to work myself.

Ok, thanks. This time i tried to directly connect two computers over a crossover cable. Bridged the connection and tap. Then started LAN-Mode on both and the two computers found each other. After pressing start the game freezes. Why?

I have no idea. If you have Kirby Air Ride, try that. I got that to work over a local area network. Have not gotten Mario KArt to work.
