Mario Kart DD on Gamecube not working?

Hi all,

Has anybody gotten Mario Kart Double Dash to work on the android? I had a search around but couldn't find anything about this on here. I am using the Samsung s8+ with the CPU lowered to 60% using Vulan as the video (as OpenGL doesn't work), it just crashes after you select your character...
