mario glaxy pointer issues

hey guys

i have the problem that the pointer in super mario galaxy is not going to "transform" like it should. so i cant click items to use them.
is the main menu everthing works fine so i dont know whats up ingame :?

usualy the pointer in middle top should "transform" to an glove but it doesnt.

im using dolphin 2 on an asus g71v notebook

i tried this option before but i seems like it requieres a emulator restart.
