Mario Galaxy-any way to Ray Surf with X360 controller ?

I found a profile for xbox360 controller that worked perfectly. The right stick acted like the Wii mote.

But then my 4 year old son..total MARIO addict..got to the Ray surfing and we were stuck. I could not get it to start. Is there any way to fix this ?

It has tilt controls... you'd need to configure those, maybe even switch profiles for those stages. The Rolling Masterpiece stages also use tilt + upright Wii Remote...
