Hey there, I was wondering if there's a way to map the triggers on the 360 controller in such a way that they accurately emulate the GCN's L and R triggers? In other words: is there a way, using GlovePIE for instance, to force the computer to split the triggers into 2 buttons each? What I mean is that if you would, say, press the trigger for more than 90%, it would switch from the analog trigger to the button. Kind of hard to explain, I don't know the exact terms (I've seen "semi-L" and "semi-R" somewhere?). I'd very much appreciate it if someone could help me out here, or give me a hint at how to program GlovePIE in order to achieve this.

Use the "Dolphin GCPad New" plugin found in Dolphin 2.0 or any recent SVN build.
The L and R refer the the button you speak of, and the threshold drop down box (default 90) controls the 90% that you speak of. 05-03-2010, 05:24 AM

If your talking about the wireless things for the wireless controllers, don't even waste your money. They don't even sell them anymore because they break a lot. Just buy yourself a wired xbox 360 controller for computer use.

I was wondering if it was possible to get the analog sticks to be able to emulate the nunchuck on one of the sticks and emulating wii motion on the other.

With the new wiimote plugin, you can do that with wiimote tilt. Swing hasn't been added yet. The current wiimote plugin might let you do wiimote swing with one analog stick, but just left and right, I think. (could be wrong) 05-03-2010, 02:42 PM

Another question I had was why my analog 2 stick only detects up and down motion, its not a full range of motion like analog 1 05-03-2010, 05:31 PM

Thought it might be just State-side, but I googled it and didn't find anything on the adapters being pulled. Got a link? Wired controller is not really an option for me, I travel a lot, which is not very good for wired gamepads. Besides, all the wired controllers I've come across have gotten breaks in their cables somehow, even when they're only used around the house. That, and they cost twice the amount of money of the dongle. |
