Ah, it uses a malformed banner to crash the WiiOS and run code... I already guessed it from its name.
Maybe in a newer version of their firmware Nintendo will handle malformed banners correctly and this
exploit won't work anymore... but hackers will find a workaround or another exploit
And that will keep happening again and again
I just don't get why they bother, it happened with the PSP and the exact same thing is happening with the Wii. It is also bound to happen to any future consoles.
I just don't get why they work so hard wasting resources to block exploits when another way will always be found around it to run unlicensed "homebrew" code.
They should really try to work with the homebrew community rather than shun it, such a move could possibly bring good publicity for the consoles.
