Hi there. Exactly what the title says. The problem is (I kinda asked this in the metroid prime 3 thread) I have a great Graphics Card, but the CPU is a Core 2 Quad Q6600 of 2.4 GHz and 8 MB caché. The problem is that the emulator doesn't (yet) use the four cores of the processor. The Open MP texture doesn't really make much difference, as pointed by KHRZ. So... I need a better processor. But, is there a way, anyway, a modification, another version, anything at all, that can derive CPU usage to the GPU? I have a N560GTX Graphics Card, I believe it should work very well if I can do it.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit
Processor: Intel Core I7 8700
RAM: 32 GB Kingston Dual Channel
Video: ATI Radeon RX 580 8GB VRAM
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370M

I don't think thats possible.
Cpu and Gpu are different..
Gpu is mainly use to render graphic, while cpu execute the system instruction.
And what dolphin do is emulating, this require some calculation..
Actually I don't know much about this but if you think logically you should see which component is doing the job..
What you asking is like asking to play bf3 with a powerful cpu but onboard display..even you can run it you can imagine how well the performance it could be..

Come back when you understand more about programming and microprocessors.

1. GPUs and GPU APIs are very restrictive on what you can and cannot do with them since they are optimized for a particular set of operations that are common in 3D rendering. CPU emulation (and most applications in general) cannot be done with them.
2. Even if it could be done the GPU is not the magic super processor that everybody seems to make it out as these days. It is quite slow at most things, far slower than even the worst modern cpus. It is only good at a small number of specialized tasks.
