Why do people play Dolphin emulating a wii emulating an N64? Cause it's freakin awesome that's why! Fire up an n64 emulator and a game that has an NES game in it, like Excitebike. It won't work. Dolphin? WORKS. Dolphin rocks.

Err, no one said it doesn't.

It just doesn't make any sense for someone to play a game that is for an older system that works perfectly fine on an emulator that emulates that system, then come here complainging that it doesn't work for Dolphin when it most likely works with no problems at all on the older system emulator. Not to mention they could hi res that game, depending on what game it is. Most of the complaing about old games that don't work on Dolphin are Zelda, and work flawlessly on Project 64/1964. Not to mention they are able to use different texture packs for that game any way, including getting a higher resolution for the game they're wanting to play.

That's why it doesn't make any sense.

Another option is the GC Zelda: Collector's Edition which includes Majora's Mask. It works fine for me, although I never played long enough to save, so there may be problems further down the line. Amazing game, but a pretty frustrating way to start it...

Don't be religious.
You could be offending Christians.

...and you resurrected a thread to tell someone who probably doesn't even visit ere anymore not to express his religious views? Are you that desperate for post counts?

Anyway, Majora's Mask actually does work on more recent dolphin revisions. You cannot, however, take the rom out of the virtual console game (for this one at least).

@Kelton2 - I'm noticing that a lot of your recent posts are borderline off-topic. In this case there's a reason no one was offended (hint: look at the smiley face). Try to make relevant posts that ask specific questions (e.g. ones that you can't find an answer to after searching) or by posting new or helpful info that's not trivial or obvious (e.g. settings or revisions for games that people might not know about).
