I found this picture of a very old version of dolphin with an 'unlimited jit cache' option: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v82/raphnguyen/dolphin01.jpg
Dunno how that would react to games which have to do many cache flushes, probably take a ton of ram. But an (hidden) option to increase jit cache size could be handy for cases like this.

The downside of something like that is that, when it does clear, it'll take a very long time and maybe even deadlock the emulator. It's a net loss and would only distract people from working on a real solution.

Would it be good if there is an option to control the size of the cache? At this point based on your explanation perhaps regular small cache flushes will be better that the current 1-2 second freeze periodically?
