Start > Run > msconfig > Startup tab

I would back up all important data to removable media or over the network, then scan it for viruses. Format all partitions on the drive, re-partition it, re-install Windows, reconfigure Windows. Done.advanced users ? I did a clean installation of windows without knowing what the hell I were doing xD
Now my tips
-Check with "WinRAR" if you have viruses in you computer ( It can see everything , just delete something and ou antivirus will detect it ( check C:\recycler for .exe files ))
-As a mad pigeon said , run msconfig and disable all the shit that you have at the startup , and if you see something like 948.exe or something like that fing it and delete it
-Open firefox with 200 add-ons , use it for like 1 or 2 hrs and then close the process = free RAM
( useful only in pc with 512 mb of ram or less )-Check that the isos are not fragmented ( once I started to desfragment a partition in my HDD and I closed it , then when I tried to play brawl it was slow as **** )
-never leave a partition with less space than the page file have assigned to it ( once I leaved the C:\ drive with only 1 Gb and OMG )
