Main Joystick Not Working With Dolphin Emulator

Hey there, I recently
downloaded the Dolphin Gamecube emulator and, after some work getting
the DSP LLE audio files working, It thought I was good to go. One big
problem though: the main joystick doesn't work. It didn't work with the
keyboard default and even after rebinding the keys, restoring to
default, and messing around with it for a long time, nothing fixed it.
Everything else works fine though

Then I tried a Logitech USB WingMan RumblePad controller, set up all
the keys, and... again the main joystick doesn't work. I tried
rebinding the main joystick on the controller to other buttons in-game
and they worked fine, so it isn't my controller.

One thing worth mentioning is that when I get into a game menu such
as char select in Smash Bros. Melee, the pointer immediately goes all
the way to the left and cannot be moved from there. It did this with
both the keyboard and controller.

After some more testing, in Mario Sunshine this is very pronounced. When you get into the file select screen, Mario immediately starts running left. This can't be stopped with keyboard input for the primary joystick either. It almost sounds like something was plugged in while a button was pushed, but I'm not sure what to try at this point

I'm pretty lost on how to fix this so any help would be great!

Thanks

Do you mean settings for the emulator such as graphics or controller settings? As far as the emulator goes, things are pretty much set to default right now except I bumped up some stuff (added a little anti-aliasing and used the DPS LLE audio files). My controller settings don't actually matter that much, since I restored everything to default and this problem was occurring right at the beginning before I changed a single thing anyway. I just built this computer and all the specs are quite good, so I'm positive it can handle the emulator. If you have anything in specific you want let me know

P.S. this got moved to controller issues, but honestly it's not the controller. If you actually read the whole post, the issue is that the emulator is inputting constantly to the left for the main joystick, regardless of whether I use a keyboard or a controller. I've tried resetting it many times, and my keyboard is also new so I seriously doubt that's the problem

For this, it would be good to have all settings, ie all config, all graphics, all controller, and game specific properties.

Also, where did you download your build from? If it was anywhere other than the official website, then that may be part of the problem.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Radeon Vega 56

This was resolved in another thread. Basically gave up and did a re-download after copying my data and deleted everything else since I hadn't done much with it yet.

Here's the thread I resolved it in if anyone is interested:
