Is Vulkan/Metal supported on MacOS? I'm using the latest version of MacOS and the latest beta of Dolphin, and games crash almost instantly when I try to use Vulkan.

I get the "Dolphin quit unexpectedly" error.

OpenGL works, but poorly because MacOS is phasing out support for OpenGL and wants everyone to use Metal.

Dolphin uses MoltenVK so that its Vulkan backend will run on Metal instead. It's supposed to work.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Radeon Vega 56

I've heard that, but in my case it's clearly not working. Any ideas why?

I saw others on Reddit reporting the same thing 2 months ago:

MoltenVK also works pretty poorly on some GPUs. Developers are tired of trying to work around all of Apple's unexpected and unwarned regressions and this is the result.

Make sure to keep GPU Texture Decoding off. GPU Texture Decoding will crash Dolphin under MoltenVK atm.

But yea, if you keep that in mind, it still works!

Could you by any chance test this with Super Mario Galaxy? It is one of the few games I have and on vulkan the game plays fast enough but all the textures flicker in and out flashing to blue? On OpenGL many things are just plain not rendering. V11991 (though same on 11836)
