I have not been able to connect my Wiimote Plus TR since update to MacOS HighSierra. Any attempt to click on the refresh button (in the Controllers configuration, next to the "continuous scanning" box) immediately freezes the emulator (Dolphin 5.0 but it does the same with development versions) requiring a force quit. This is happening even when no attempt to connect any controller is underway - a simple click on the "refresh" gives the spinning rainbow. I know that updates to OS sometimes cause problems but I was wondering if anybody encountered the same issue? It all worked flawlessly before the update.

Deleted, cleaned every reference of it from the hidden folders, installed clean copy. No change, same behaviour. It runs the games perfectly fine but it always crashes at any attempt to press the controller refresh button. 10-05-2017, 05:34 AM
Have you gone to the Bluetooth panel in settings, disabled and then re-enabled Bluetooth?

Turning the bluetooth off from the menu bar was not enough. But disabling it in the system settings, reinstalling Dolphin, and then turning it on again did the trick. Many thanks for the good advice. |
