If you use parallels you'd be emulating on an emulated OS, not smart or efficient. Just make sure you redo the thermal paste as well. Seeing how almost all laptops are assembled at Foxconn, everyone should redo their thermal paste.
I know what you mean, but I really don't fancy taking apart a sealed unit, which will void the warranty to reapply thermal paste. I'll get the 3 year apple care package and if there is ever a problem It will go back to the store.
