I'm using Dolphin 5.0 on a Mac (OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan). I'm only using it for my Gamecube games, and the emulator works great on my computer, but playing with a keyboard is no fun. I have an official Nintendo Gamecube controller and I have an official Nintendo Wii U Gamecube USB controller adapter.
I downloaded the SmashEnabler.pkg.zip file as per all the online recommendations. I've installed it properly, reset my computer.
When I go into Dolphin controller configuration, I select "GameCube Adapter for Wii U" as my Gamecube controller, and it doesn't work. If I click configure, it says "Adapter Not Detected".
Nothing works. Is anyone else able to use an official Gamecube controller with Dolphin 5.0 on a Mac to play Gamecube games?
If not, can anyone suggest a good alternative controller?
Any help is most appreciated. Thanks!
