Alright, after google searching like mad I haven't found ANY resolved threads with difinitive answers on how to fix the issues with pairing a real Wiimote with OSX to use on Dolphin to play games.
The issues I am having currently are:
OSX bluetooth recognizes the real Wiimote as "Nintendo RVL-CNT-1" and I launch Dolphin Emulator and open the wii controller menu. I only have Controller 1 as Real Wiimote, the rest (2-4) are None. I hit refresh like 20-30 times with occasional 5-10 second attempts where the refresh button is stuck down(as if it's looking) only to resolve to "0 connected". So frustrating.
Next, I disconnect it from Bluetooth and attempt to press down 1+2 buttons while hitting refresh on the Wiimote Menu for connecting controllers. This happens maybe 5-10 times without any success.
Next, I go into the advanced bluetooth preferences menu and manually delete the Wiimote off the preferred device listing. The I try the first two methods again. Nothing.
All it does is blink the 4 blue lights at the bottom.
I have uninstalled Dolphin and reinstalled multiple versions then used the above combinations, ad nauseum(over and over and over).
It doesn't make any sense. I was playing the New Super Mario Brothers with this exact computer and exact wiimote not 2 weeks ago. It recognized the wiimote then, why not now? Did Dolphin pull support with this newest version for macs/real wiimotes? How could it just "not work"?
I am really looking for some answers that will resolve the issue. Darwin remote does not even work anymore thanks to some previous version messing up some settings.
So to clarify, how to do I get the real wiimote to just run properly on OSX through the OS's normal bluetooth menu. If your answer happens to be, "it doesn't"... then please tell me they recently withdrew coded support for it, because I had this up and running not 2 weeks ago.
/le sigh.
