Oh, don't worry, these are just first baby steps in terms of gauging people's reactions to having a different design as there is now. I'm still experimenting with looks and the feeling of new designs, and will use the full range of OS features, like being able to use list, grid, thumbnail and gallery views.
Collecting the artwork isn't a big problem, as I have an extensive collection of them already, which I would make available as part of the app.
With regards to not including other areas of Dolphin emulation, like VC, WiiWare etc, I just wanted to stick to the two main areas the emulator is dedicated to. VC I don't think applies as it's merely an emulator itself and if I wanted to play an N64 game, I'd download Project 64, not a WAD for Dolphin.
Obviously, I'm a designer so the technicality around it goes waaay over my head, but I'd love for whatever design I went with to be able to be ported over, but I know Windows isn't as easy to design for, in terms of GUI but these show a good example of Windows apps going away from the norm http://windows.appstorm.net/roundups/25-...dows-apps/
