I found a post about going into library/application support/Dolphin. I don't have a dolphin folder in my library. But whenever i open dolphin from the dmg or desktop all the settings/options are cached in there. How can I start from scratch?

Open finder and search for "Dolphin Emulator". Delete it and download the latest version, I think is how you do it on Mac?

There are two Dolphin folders. You need to delete both of them. There is also the "reset to default" button on all the config windows, idk why you just don't use that.

Hey koo if you are on a mac going to the library folder via finder leads to the wrong library folder since the one you want is hidden, instead after opening the finder window up in the top where it says file, edit, view, go you want to click on go and then the option go to folder and copy paste the following:
/Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support change the yourusername to what yours is and this is the application area where all app folders are usually stored and delete Dolphin from there, if you type: /Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/Dolphin you will be inside the Dolphin folder where all the Dolphin files are usually saved

Download and install AppCleaner, drag and drop Dolphin.app in it, it will search and display all related files. Then hit "Delete", empty trash and there you go.
From France with love.
