Maybe this isn't a dolphin problem perse but it is affecting my ability to use it.

Downloaded the Wii U adapter driver for Mac provided at https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/ in hopes to get my gamecube controller working. Alas, the adapter isn't being detected. I don't remember having this problem on my old computer that has the El Capitan OS, is it a problem with the High Sierra OS? I've tried restarting the computer, plugging the adapter back in after quitting out of dolphin, and a few other things. I would use the kext but as you can probably tell, I'm not very computer savvy and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with the kext after I have it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Moved to controllers!

Regarding your issues, are you using the custom kext?

I'm gonna try it, did those six steps about the SIP work for the guy you were helping?

Disabling this SIP did the trick. Thank you so much! This has been giving me gray hair for 24 hours.
