As far as I know, nobody reverse engineered that chip...It's just a DAC, there's not really anything to reverse-engineer. Somebody did recently post a cheap DIY solution on gc-forever. But that still doesn't excuse Nintendo for excessively overcharging for the cable, then using "nobody used it" to justify removing the port.

If so, that is fine, I am more worried about bugs that affect things like saving, gameplay, etc. I have a sensor bar....although I think I am leaning more to the gamecube version because I dont feel like slashing away with the wii remote. As of now I am just going to go with the gamecube version. Quick question though, I backed up my twilight princess save on the wii many years ago, I still have it to this day. Is it possible for dolphin to read the save file or are dolphin save files different?Nah, I meant actual bugs that also exist if you were to play on the console. Something about the chu jelly potions is what comes to mind. You can get your save file off your wii if you've got an SD card... I'm not sure about converting the save from Wii to gamecube though. That doesn't sound like something that would be possible :( (09-22-2014, 01:29 PM)driscoll42 Wrote: Here's some differences I found here:nice! didn't know about those item slots.. I found using the AR code to fix the widescreen was superb. Made the game look perfect :) 09-23-2014, 01:01 PM

I remember this one, it's a bug in the wii version rather than the gamecube... when the right colour chus mix together it's meant to create a green chu which gives green jelly when killed. This jelly was meant to refill your magic, but since the magic meter was cut from the game they also prevented the green chu from being created (in the gamecube version). For some reason it managed to sneak into the wii version, though the green jelly has no effect. |
