Low profile cards are for computers that aren't big enough to hold a standard sized expansion card. Their general maximum size is 2.5 by 6.5 inches. The OP is planning a Media PC build, Media PCs are rarely larger than a VCR and thus a full size graphics card won't fit.

I was looking at the EVGA 01G-P3-1430-LR GeForce GT 430 (Fermi) 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130579) and noticed that the card looks low profile, I do not know if it come with a low profile bracket to put into my HTPC. Does anyone know for sure if this comes with a low profile bracket?

I need a card that has a low profile bracket that can be connected to my case. In order to have a graphics card support a low profile bracket, it must not be taller than a low profile bracket. 11-21-2011, 02:23 PM
