1. Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit
2. Intel Q6600 B3 @ 3 ghz
3. Saphire Radeon 5770
4. Dolphin 2.0 on main page

I always get 20 fps in game, from what I can get from the searching that I've done, it seems that I should get ~50 fps. Any ideas / suggestions on why I'm only getting 20 fps all the time in game?

First of all use this builds, are optimized for intel cpus (Core 2 Quad = SSE4.1):

Now the best config for me is:

- Use Direct3D Video plugin.
- Disable Audio throttle in audio plugin.
- Enable Progressive Scan in wii tabs.
- Use framelimit in general tab (50 for PAL and 60 for NTSC).

I was having the same issue so i fiddled.
Try changing your graphics plugin to D3D9
then open the graphics settings window
Click on the advanced tab
now where it says enable efb copy
check the circle "to texture" instead of "to memory"

I noticed in new super mario bros. that the coins turn to 2D, and boosted
my FPS from like 20 to 56

you could also try removing fog as a option.
hope this helps good luck.

I changed it to D3D9 and it works 60 FPS. I love you!!! For some reason it defaults to openGL, but all is well!
