i've a little question ,, okay the last time bothering you people ..

what do you recommend for me as a PC upgrade now without breaking bank !?
i made up my mind : tell me you opinion :p

-intel core 2 duo E8600 " i intend to OC it too "
-Kingstone 2x2GB DDR2.
-Nvidia Geforce 9400GT 1GB.? Or 9800GT ??
Is this enough for dolphin,pcsx2 and other CPU and GPU intensive tasks ? and how long it will be a high-end PC ?
I cant thank you guys enough !!

This would be plenty. But I would suggest going with a GTX series card. the geforce 9's fall a bit behind the GTX2xx's. Marginal price difference.

Since you're talking about high end video cards, Radeon HD 5870 has the crown.
Just being informative.

I would personally try to stick with the cheapest dolphin capable VGA at low res, then wait a couple of months and buy the new HD56xx or HD57xx.

What do you know? If that mobo has 2 PCI-E ports, you might even be able to use a 9400GT for CUDA (physX in games).

I was making an opinion about this hypotethical rig.
Some motherboards have two PCI-E ports (for SLI, Crossfire, CUDA dedicated 9400GT), but I guess those will be pretty overpriced.

It all depends on your budget, and if you're going to play other non-emulated games.

I personally believe that buying a 65nm g92 chip isn't a good choice. (8800GT and derivates)
Seeing there are far better choices around there, regarding power consumption, and prices.

For anything Dolphin capable, take a look at GTS 250, Radeon HD 4770.

If you want something even more powerful and you're willing to spend on it, you'd better wait a month or so, because we're in the middle of a new high end video cards transitions and you might see some interesting things.
