I recently installed project m 3.6 using this tutorial, and there are a few problems. A lot of the music is staticy, crackly, and loud. Some just isn't the correct music (e.g. fountain of dreams is a distorted mario kart song). Character portraits for player 2 are just blank grey. If you try to save a snapshot from the pause screen it's just static. Replays are messed up where the characters will just get in an endless loop of turning back and forth. Any help?

Saving snapshots only works if you have disabled Store EFB Copies to Texture Only. The music problems sound familiar, but I don't know much about them, so I hope someone else here does.

The music can be fixed by changing your hooktype to VBI in Gecko's configuration.
The replay thing is not an issue with Dolphin--it is an issue with P:M's code that cannot be fixed. If you want replays to work correctly, you have to download the wifi-safe codeset (read the Downloads page). 08-25-2015, 03:13 AM

Either you have working snapshots or you have better performance. If you want to, you can toggle the setting while you're in the pause menu so that it's fast when playing and slow (but working) when taking snapshots. |
