Hey all. Just registered and read some of the "READ FIRST" but since I couldn't access the page to see how to speed up emulation the best, I'll just post my little question here.
So right now I'm enjoying Wind Waker on Dolphin 4.0, I looked up the wiki and configured my settings so I would avoid crashes.
Now I'm using JIT Recompiler and DSP LLE XAudio2, because anything else is either causing my game to lag at some battles or there is a chance of freeze and crash.
I run Resolution at Auto (multiple of 640x528 and added some of the settings there. Even if I crank it up or put it at lowest on the Enhancements options, it doesn't seem to change my lag during battles that much.
I have custom textures on so I have EFB Copies Texture and Cache at Safe. Also disabled Fast Depth Calculation as advised on Wiki for Wind Waker and enabled OpenMP Texture Decoder for hoping for some less lag..
Now.. I'm just looking for tips & tweaks for getting my emulation to work as fast as possible but still having a good resolution and in-game quality.
You probably get this thread a lot and I'm new so I'm sorry that you get to hear it again.
Thanks for the help in advance!
