Hi all. Noobie here.
I've gotten Dolphin to work with several Gamecube games. I've gotten it to work with my Xbox 360 controller - utterly amazing job by the Dolphin team.
Now I want to go deeper into making the gamepad work for Gamecube games; I want to fine-tune the settings. I've searched for tutorials, watched YouTube channel vids, etc. Still haven't found an idiot-proof, step-by-step guide for getting the most out of the settings.
My issues:
* the sensitivity seems high for the right stick - a mere touch while playing Wind Waker and Super Mario Sunshine causes the camera to pull a 180.
* any way to work save states without needing the keyboard? I find myself with one Xbox 360 button free (the Left Shoulder button) and would like to use it as a "shift" key of sorts to create & load saves in conjunction with the other buttons. (I'm playing from my TV.)
Specifically, the questions that I am hoping a tutorial/FAQ can address:
* How can I create & load save states solely from my gamepad - or is this simply a no-go?
* How can I edit the sensitivity of the analog sticks (not the left/right triggers)
* Looking at the Gamepad Configuration page, what does a stick's "Dead Zone" mean?
* Looking at the Gamepad Configuration page, what does a stick's "Square Stick" mean?
* Looking at the Gamepad Configuration page, what does the stick's "Modifier" button do?
Thanks for any help in advance. Cheers!
