I made my way up to the "Captured by Bokoblins", just before getting the big chest with the remaining items and my System crashed. I looked around thru some save state archives but nothing much out there for this point the game. Does anyone have a save near that area in the game?

You can try mine. It's been a long time since I've played but I believe I was a little past that part.

ok I will try it. I did find the one I need but its J(japan I guess) and the emulator wont load it, says it corrupt(tried copping it in to 534f5545). Any ways to convert J to US or what ever 534f5545 is.

I don't think its possible to convert a save file like that. You would probably have more luck looking for a way to patch your iso's region. Though I doubt that would work either.

Some games are trivial to modify the saves of. Others... not so much.

Got it

The file was a wii save that came from a console I believe? When I tried to import to dolphin it put it in the \00010000\534f5545a\data folder.

My game is ntsc so I move the wiiking2.sav and skip.dat to the \00010000\534f5545\data folder and change the first 4 bytes (use winhex or like) to 53 4f 55 45 and the game save works.
