Hello, Dolphin Forums.

I am looking for a laptop, preferably 2-in-1 (laptop that can close into a tablet, so it can sit easier and take up less space) that can run Super Smash Bros. Melee at 60fps.
Graphics I do not care about so much, other than a widescreen hack (which iirc shouldn't be so intense on running).
Melee is notorious for being one of the easiest games to run on Dolphin, especially with the newer versions.
The specific version of Dolphin I would be running are the newer development versions, like right now I'm using 4.0-7840
I was looking into it the other day, and these are a few that I think could run it well, let me know if any of these are good.

Lenovo - Flex 3 2-in-1 14" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive - Black

Acer - Aspire 2-in-1 11.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 4GB Memory - 128GB Solid State Drive - Silver

Asus - 2-in-1 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive - Black

Of course, I'm not saying these exact models are necessarily what I'm going to buy. Let me know of some specs to look for as a reference, and post some other models if you recommend some too.
Also, my budget is ~$800-ish, I can probably go a bit higher

Thanks!

The Lenovo or Asus laptops that you liked should be ok. The have Intel 6th gen ULV CPUs, but they have a highish clock speed.

The one thing that you should be looking for in laptops is a good processor. Dolphin is a really IPC dependant program, which means that Intel CPUs are the way to go, and preferrably with a high clock speed (3.0Ghz+ if possible). The mobile i7 HQ, MQ and MX series should yield the absolute best performance, whereas the U and T series are not as good because they are optimised for low power use and are therefore slower.

The graphics card doesn't matter that much if you are fine with 1xIR (the game's original resolution) and anything better doesn't fit in your budget in any case. Any modern integrated Intel GPU (for example a HD Graphics 4600) will get you there, but after all we're talking about pretty much the lowest settings possible.

Okay but if you Actually Read The Thread, OP just wants to run Melee and wants a tablet hybrid. Melee runs on damn near everything. OP doesn't need a HQ/MQ/MX CPU (Most tablet combos don't come with these anyways). They know this.

The newest intel GPUs can run 2x IR just fine.

OP, go with the Acer or Asus. Avoid the Lenovo

The Acer has a low clocked Haswell-Y ULV, not recommended as it will be slow
