Hi there, I am looking to purchase a machine capable of running dolphin with primary emphasis on small form factor (easily able to fit in a backpack). At the moment, I am only interested in playing Gamecube games and would like to be able to play the compatible titles at full speed at 2-3x native resolution.

I have specifically been looking at the Gigabyte Brix Pro (GB-BXi5-4570R) and Gaming (GB-BXi5G-76) models. I am just wondering if anyone here has any more economical ideas? or any suggestions on a product with a smaller chassis? It seems any machine smaller than these models do not have the CPU power to run Dolphin as they all have Celeron or "U" processors. I am also not sure how much more power is required to play wii games vs gamecube games.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Wii games aren´t more demanding (or less demanding) than GC games.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

Yeah, in some cases Wii games are actually less demanding than GC games, as everything depends on the game.

The Gigabyte brix Pro is what I would recommend.
