That's already the issue. You have to configure it manually and imo that hasn't been easy or intuitive… And it won't be easy or even possible to achieve that with most controllers.

Well I'm using an Xbox 360 controller the most used PC controller. The main problem I would see people having is percise analog control and it could just be me who is good at that sort of thing but unlike the youtube videos I've got my configuration just perfect for Skyward Sword and a few other Wii mote required games.

One big problem is when you go to max range the wiimote flips around basically but this can be temporarly solved by increasing deadzone which also helps with an easier position to hold for Skyward charge.

Not to mention there is programs like motionjoy which let you config your controller's settings more in deph than the windows config.

I see. I don't play PC games (unless you count Dolphin as a PC game…) so I only have GC and Wii controllers. I guess that's the case for most users, which is probably why there hasn't been a lot of incentive to implement an emulated Motion Plus.

There's several reasons why. The less controversial reason for this is that it's simply *really* hard. The Wii Motion+ implements twelve new sensors, and every single game that uses the WM+ uses the sensor data differently! So each game would need specific settings which are impossible to get perfectly. UX for that would be awful, and it would never really work right.

There are other reasons too, but that's probably the only one users care about.

I guess the most realistic thing to do here is make a Skyward sword Gamepad rom hack patch. I wonder how hard it is to hack Wii games compared to N64 ones.

The whole game was designed to work with a real Motion Plus though along with a sensor bar. If it is even possible, it would be very difficult to do.

No, the most realistic thing to do here is buy a ridiculously cheap piece of hardware called a "bluetooth dongle." Then you can just use an actual MotionPlus controller instead of this weird Frankenstein's monster you're trying to create.

They would need a sensor bar as well for SS.

Buddy, get a Dolphinbar. They're cheap.
