Logitech Dual action w/ Super Smash Bros. Brawl?

Yea so my Xbox 360 wired controller works fine and when I map the keys to the logitech dual action controller section under dolphin it registers all of the buttons perfectly fine but the controller doesn't work at all in game.

If the solution is xpadder or something like that can I get a link and a step by step tutorial cus i honestly have no idea how to work that friggin program i tried it for a different game once and failed miserably

check the options->configure->game cube and make sure you have the standard controller set. No you dont need xpadder.
