Quote:btw, Dolphin has up to 20 threads.
Quote:Anyways from what I understand, the threads include:
-CPU (runtime interpreter/jit recompiler/jitil recompiler)
-GPU (runtime compiler)
-DSP
-GUI
-Audio backend
-Input
-Input #2 (if present)
-Input #3 (if present)
-Input #4 (if present)

What other threads exist and what are they used for?

Correct. I'm not using DSP on thread. It says it's not recommended.

I dont know if that(more cores) would give somebody more speed. I think it is from one to other one different.
Ive got a "strong" Pc and when Im playing twilight princess even with 4 cores on maximum, the game is not running at 30 fps! Do you want a evidence?:

I think if you got a better version you have better results even with "two cores" like me in Zelda, sry momently I havent got a pic but with r7718 I have more fps namely 30fps!

We know. Did you even read the thread?

Dolphin only uses 2 cores at a time (with the exception of LLE on thread).

The input threads are shared between GCPad and Wiimote or every ''plugin'' have it own 4 threads?

An input thread can be for either. Each active input has a thread. Correct me if I'm wrong neobrain.
