Take 2:

This message pops up whenever I open Dolphin. Then when I try to load a game (Smash Melee) it crashes. Dolphin 4.0-584 on CrunchBang Linux

My original post didn't have my specs. Anyway, I'm running linux on a 2011ish macbook pro. I'm sure I could install supercomputer level processors in this thing and still have the same problem. Tongue

4GB RAM
CPU Intel 2nd Gen Core i7 2.2 GHz
Intel HD Graphics 3000 - 512 MB GDDR5 SDRAM
Crunchbang Waldorf
Pls don't close my thread again! D:

The rules have to be enforced even though I'm fairly sure you're right about the specs not mattering.

Anyway, it sounds like a permissions issue maybe? I'm less familiar with Linux than I should be.

And don't feel bad about the previous thread being closed; it happens!

Thanks JMC ^^ I thought it might be a permissions thing so I ran it with elevated privileges (sudo) and had the same issue...
