Loading a game causes "Dolphin (Not Responding)" message?

  Whenever I try to run a game, it brings up a window with a black screen, like it's going to load the game. Instead, the black square window and the main Dolphin window get a "Not Responding' message. I am using the latest build, 4.0-9327, and I don't know much about PC emulation. I got Dolphin yesterday, and after many deletes and redownloading, this is the first time I have got the developer build to even run.                                   

EDIT: I have tried two games, both GameCube games that I loved to play when I was little: Pokemon Channel and Pikmin

I would suggest checking what backend you have selected for video, make sure it's on it's lowest settings (You have a very slow IGP), it could be that you need to go into your bios settings and set more ram to be set aside for the IGP.

If you do get it running be warned it may run slowly (You have a very slow processor and IGP, I have the N3510 in my laptop and it's wayyyyy too slow for dolphin).

No way that is going to run anything. Dolphin should still start and run the game, maybe with 1 fps, so this shouldn't happen. Did you download any dlls and put them somewhere?

Well, time to delete Dolphin from my laptop.. ;( thanks for helping.

Yeaaaah. The best you'll probably run is New Super Mario Bros Wii, or maybe Melee. But those are about the easiest to emulate games Dolphin can do, and I don't even think those will run at full speed on your system.
