I've recently upgraded my PC, got Dolphin working just fine with my old setup, but with this new one:
Everytime something needs to load, it stutters and sometimes even goes a good 0.5 FPS. For example, in Mario Kart Wii, the Luigi stage introduction when the camera turns a 160 degree angle, it grinds to a halt, then speeds up again.
I'm wondering if it's something to do with my 64kb stripe on my harddisks (as before it was 16kb), or maybe Speedstep on this i7?
Specs are:
Windows 7 Pro 64x
i7 930 @ 3.5GHz
6GB DDR3 1600MHz
ASUS P6X58D-E Mobo
XFX HD 5970 Radeon
3x 1TB in RAID 5 (64kb stripe)
2x 160GB in RAID 1 (64kb stripe)
(using 64bit version of Dolphin, and it seems to do the same on many revisions as well as the stable version)
