I don't know. I'm not you. I don't know how annoying you find different cons, how much money you have, or how much you personally value these things.

DSP LLE on thread will give you a speedup in audio heavy games if you have a 3+ core cpu. However it also causes games like SMG2 that use the zelda ucodes to hang, so I wouldn't recommend it.

My advice would probably be to wait till bulldozer before you consider buying any new hardware since you're probably on a tight budget. Personally I can't stand running SMG2 at 30 fps (framelimit 1) but that's just me.
