hi all,
wondered if someone might help me to gauge what performance I should realistically be expecting as at the mo I think my rig is underperforming.

I have an iMac with 8gb Ram, ATi Radeon 5750 1gb RAM, i7 970 @ 2.9mhz running bootcamp with Win 7 ultimate, so essentially it's operating as a P.C.

While most GC games run fine or clase to perfect, even New Super Mario Bros. struggles regarding Wii games, even at the lowest resolution!? Is this normal as I thought NSMB was one that can be run on relatively low-end stuff.

Can someone suggest what might be wrong/what are the best settings for my set-up?

Many thanks
Specs:

i7 2600k o/c @ 4.5ghz
20GB Corsair Vengeance 1600hz RAM
6GB GTX 1060
Windows 10

Managed to fix it, I simply should have switched EBF to texture instead of Ram - duh!

You should get fullspeed 'cause I managed to get fullspeed in all games till now and you can see that my specs are way below than yours + it's a laptop so heat problems but I still get fullspeed in all games till now.(but when I was new to this emulator, I was not getting fullspeed as I didn't know that how to configure it correctly)

PS: However with DSL LLE audio plugin I don't get fullspeed(in audio)

Hi,
unfortunately not getting full speed as whenever I try to go fullscreen in Windows 7 via Bootcamp it slows to half-speed!?

What audio plugin are you using?

Cheers

Maybe these settings will help you.

PS: 'Window Resolution' is wrong in that it should be 640x480(however I think that doesn't affect but still)
And for getting rid of black borders just set the maximum resolution in 'Fullscreen Resolution'. It will not affect the performance now as 'EFB Scale' in 'Graphics' settings is set to 1x.
[In 'Fractional' & 'Integral' the inner resolution changes with the screen resolution so that affects performance]

Also the 'disable lightning, fog, etc' in 2nd pic doesn't affect performance that much but that helps sometimes.

Thanks for the settings mate, however didn't make a whole lot of difference. To be honest I can run most games at fullscreen 720p well - it's games like Mario Galaxy that struggle fluctuating between 30 and 55 FPS - which I thought seemed quite low for my setup - considering as No More Heroes, RE4 and other seemingly complex games run full speed.

Super Mario Galaxy is a very demanding game so that's normal.

PS: I can also run in 720p but I don't run in 720p while using LLE.
