Hello,

I have Install Dolphin 5.0 and download latest (5.0-963) increase in folder of Dolphin.

Setting default, with D3D11 and I play Mario Kart: Double Dash! & Mario Party 5 (all both in PAL) and when I launch in menu startup (start, option,...) fps drops 50 to 28 and up to 50.

How can I lock at 50 fps all time never drops? In-game, I get very small drops 50 to 48 and up to 53...

Specs: i5-2500 (4.1 Ghz Turbo Enable), GTX 1060 6GB, 8 GB RAM & Windows 7 x64 legal.

This is probably shader compilation. There is a solution called ubershaders in this PR https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/3163
Widows build https://dl.dolphin-emu.org/prs/pr-3163-dolphin-latest-x64.7z

Note its not finished and there are multiple glitches.

More worst than Official, I get so much drops and freeze graphic  Big Grin


I have try enable "Synchro verticale" and It's more stable in-game but at screen menus same issue dropping FPS, Dolphin is not yet perfect for GameCube games?

Probably vsync in english. That can only lower fps.
Also can you go back to your other dolphin version? Dolphin caches shaders and changing versions deletes it. The linked version also only works with some shaders. (IIRC 1/7 possible 1~1/2 of common)

Edit: On nvidia you should be using opengl/dx12 for best performance. Also can you see if you get screen tearing in opengl? (with vsync on)

I have Windows 7 (Don't want upgrade to W10 it's more slower than W7 i have try it but fast back) so can't using DX12, you recommanded me using OpenGL ? I have a GTX 1060.

I have try OpenGL and DX11, no difference... And I think It's normal about drops fps in loading or screen menus, I have try too old Dolphin (4.0-6866 my old folder for MKW Multiplayer) It's same drops.

I have just check Vsync and that fix in-game drop but not in menu-screen / loading.

I think It's solved, no? Smile
