yep, I personally don't need it so much since my CPU is relatively strong, but it's surely a help for a lot of people here Smile

true for people like me with laptops or desktops that contain a sucky cpu and even worse gpu lol Smile

so this should help narrow the games down and give an idea as to what games you can emulate for your comp

Sure, try these Gamecube games. They all run very well on weak rigs.

Timesplitters 2
Mario Party 7
Eternal Darkness
All Star Baseball 2004
Star Fox Assualt
Resident Evil remake

Your best bet is to run them with r6000 as some games seem to have been slowed down or have become broken in the newest revisions.

Use these settings:
Dual core - or not
Enable idle skipping
JIT
DX9
EFB to texture.
EFB Scale 1x
Frame Limit to off
CPU EFB access to off
Audio throttle to off

Also to remember to run the game once so the shader cache can start, then the next time you run the game it will be slightly faster.

enjoy.

This thread is still alive?
I've been wandering how can run Soul Calibur 2 ?
I got a T6500 cpu(score around 1400) but I can't get it full speed, only 35-40 fps, and it's slow(1024 * 768, no AA AF). Mind post your build and settings? Thx

My laptop(is crap):
T6500 @ 2.1GHz(no OC)
2GB Ram
G 105M DDR 2 512M
Windows XP Sp3 32bit + Ubuntu 10.04LTS 32bit

I just want to share that I got Final Fantasy: the after years working on my really low end CPU. Frame rates are low and there's lag on the world map but other than that it's quite enjoyable. I didn't see final fantasy on the WiiWare list - maybe someone could add it?

Pentium 4 3.0gz
2Gb ram
Nvidia 7600 GS
Hardware Score: 386
