Those last steps are really important. Don't close the Bluetooth Set-up assistant, and immediately launch the game when it says "1 connected" in Dolphin. Once the game is launched, press any button (I press A) and the light should come on.
If that doesn't work, shoot. Sorry man. Are you using a new TR Wii Remote? Or is it the older version?
It is the older version of the wii controller and i am using 3.0 because it does not pair at 3.0-458!
