Hello All:
I am attempting to setup a wiimote on linux. I am using revision 7553 (updated today). I consider myself a moderately advanced linux user but am new to bluetooth and am new to the wii. Really, I just won two wii games as a door prize at an event and want to see if I can play them without buying a wii -- I want to integrate it into my mythbox.
Dolphin recognizes the wiimote and connects to it when I press 1+2 and hit 'refresh'. But when I launch the game, even though pressing the buttons speeds through the menus, I'm unable to start either game. For instance, in Bond, the screen just sits there asking me to press any button. Interestingly, the "HOME" button works just fine, and escapes out to whatever menu that is, but I'm not even able to select anything from there.
So if someone could tell me what steps I need to take, I would greatly appreciate it. Various bluetooth kernel modules seem to be loaded, and I can connect to the device and see button presses using wmgui from the cwiid package.
Cheers and thanks!
p.s. If I need to provide more information, just ask![/quote]
