Linux version as good as the windows version?

Hey, I'm in the process of kicking out windows for life. Do y'all use dolphin via wine or the native linux build? Works the same sans DX9 plugin?

It doesn't work via Wine too well, but the linux build works pretty fine.
There are some issues though:
- the OpenGL plugin generally seems to be a bit slower than DX9, could be bad programming, could be bad OpenGL drivers as well though
- Dual Core mode in Linux is broken AFAIK, using single core is faster on Linux
So... probably you'll only get like 50% of the Windows build's performance unfortunately.

aye, thanks for the info. it's kind of odd; it's always the small unofficial programs that people complain about for absolutely needing windows (me included)
i suppose we are stuck with windows until the grave
