Linux screen locks while playing

I'm running Dolphin 4.0-7777 (built from source) on Linux Mint 64bit. I have my OS set up to lock the screen after 10 minutes of inactivity and while playing Dolphin the screen will start to lock out. I was wondering if there is an option available on Dolphin to pause this (as opposed to disabling this feature on my OS). I have used Dolphin before on Windows 7 and did not have this issue so I am assuming it might be Linux related.
