Hi. Well, I'm newibie in Linux but I'm in the process of learning. I searched in the different forums, including stickies, but didn't find very similar questions. Hope this is the right place to ask because I didn't know exactly where to do it...

Anyway, first question would be where to find latest SVN's for Linux? Can they be found in the repositories? I heard some Dolphin builts are found there but probably not the recent ones, but I still have to find out. Or is it better to find and compile latest SVN? And how to do it? I also wonder if someone else uses SUSE or openSUSE because I've seen several Linux users use Ubuntu...

I already checked here, and I wonder if I have to look for the dependencies one by one or if they can be found in repositories. Also, is here where source code can be downloaded for compilation?

A last question, does someone know how Nvidia "nouveau" drivers do compared to official Nvidia drivers? I read several SUSE users seemingly got more trouble switching to the official ones and preferred nouveau ones...

I apologize for asking too much newbie questions, but I can assure I'm also doing my homework. Thanks.

I don't have much time right now, but you definitely won't be able to run Dolphin with nouveau (not even with bleeding edge builds)... generally speaking the driver is still years behind the official one.

So official drivers being generally worse than nouveau was a rumor or kind of?
Anyway, changing drivers to the official Nvidia ones... How should I then proceed?
