My SO attempted to use the HDMI 3D mode with Super Mario Sunshine, without the benefit of an HDMI 3D monitor, on his Ryzen 2400G iGPU, running under the latest KDE from the Arch repos. This should probably fail gracefully, but instead, it caused a double GPU driver crash and ended his KDE session. It would be nice if this feature could actually detect if the system and monitor are compatible before attempting to set a display mode that the system can't handle.
