Connecting real wii controllers appears to behave differently in dolphin-emu vs dolphin-emu-nogui:
Connecting with dolphin-emu:
About half of the time it hangs, the other half it works, but it always works when not using dolphin-emu-nogui.
I'm running git rev. bd20dd39620ca290 and it's been a problem a while.
Not sure why it behaves so differently with or without gui?
Also, it would be nice to get the little log messages in the corner when using the -nogui, is that possible?
Lastly, is there any logging i could turn on to debug the controllers?
System information:
Connecting with dolphin-emu:
- Pressing sync button on controller 1
- I see a little message in the corner "Wiimote 1 connected"
- Pressing sync button on controller 2
- I see a little message in the corner "Wiimote 2 connected"
- Success!
- Pressing sync button on controller 1
- no little message in the corner, but controller led 1 is on
- Pressing sync button on controller 2, one of these random things happen:
- no little message in the corner, but controller led 1 on both controllers light up and the emulator hangs
- no little message in the corner, but controller led 2 lights up on controller 2 and everything works
