Level-Up bug in Fire Emblem Path of Radiance

I have a problem with Fire Emblem.
ImÂ´at mission 23(?) where I have to go over a huge bridge.
A character levels up I see the message "Level Up" but then nothing else happens. I canÂ´t press any key. Normally I see which things go up (HP, strenght...)
Maybe someone knows a possibility to fix this. Thanks.

Having the exact same issue, if on a different mission. Would greatly appreciate some help here. In my case at least, cloaks are still flapping, weapons are moving in hand, the level up screen just won't deign to appear. >_>

This is and has been a known issue

I've found that restarting the chapter solves the issue somewhat in that it doesn't appear a second time.

got the same problem at this stage.... i'm looking forward for a game fix.
