Dude , that i3 is too weak for latest Dolphin . Even if it was an I7 Ivy Bridge @ 2.5GHz , I would still advise against it
i5 3230M can boost up to 3.0GHz with 2 cores active automatically (when programs require full power , Dolphin is a power hungry app so .... ) .
500MHz does matter ...by a lot . However , it's still nowhere near enough for demanding games
i7 4700MQ @ 3.2GHz is as fast as i5 3570k @ 4.0GHz , Haswell is future proof CPU for Dolphin (Dolphin becomes more demanding over time)
i5 3570k is a quad core , all mobile i5 are dual core . A Quad Core CPU is 10-20% faster than a dual core in Dolphin .
Just take time and look at the official Zelda WW Benchmark (which is a light weight game btw)
