I have a Pixel 5 that runs Dolphin just fine, but I wanted to use a bigger screen.  I tried to run GC games using Dolphin on my Lenovo Tab M10 Plus FHD, but the frame rate drops to where the games are unplayable.  I am not sure if it is because I need to change anything in the settings, or if it the hardware cannot handle it. The tablet has Android 10, a MediaTek P22 Tab, OctaCore 4 x 2.3 + 4 x 1.6 CPU, and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. I cannot find any specs anywhere that mentions any sort of GPU. I have tried several different games and various versions of Dolphin as well, from the Google Play store and from Dolphin directly here, and it is always the same. The games load just fine, and sometime cut-scenes work just fine, but the game play drops to 5-6 frames per second, and the sound is just horrendous as well.  I have tried various setting changes, but they seem to make it almost worse. If anyone has any ideas, I will gladly try them out.  If you think the hardware just cannot run it, I'll stick to my Pixel 5 until I can find another Android Tablet that can run it.

Thank you.

You can try turning down the emulated CPU clock a bit.
Go to General Settings > Check “Override Emulated CPU Clock” > Reduce the “Emulated CPU Clock”

Maybe try 40% speed?

Thank you! That helped some. It is getting games to run at 10-11fps now. Still not really enjoyable to play, but it is better. I tried it at different CPU emulation clock speeds, but 40 seems to be where it is at. I've also tried changing the emulator speed, and those don't seem to change game play much at all. It just made cut scenes run fast.

I also found that the tablet is using a PowerVR Rogue GE8320 GPU. I don't know if that tidbit will help.

Unfortunately, the Helio P22 in your tablet is not powerful enough even for light weight GC games. What you want is a tablet that has A73 or better CPU cores for decent GC emulation.

Thank you for letting me know. I figured that might be the case but wanted to verify with people who would really know. I will just play on my Pixel but know to get something a little beefier that can.

Thank you again!
